Spin observables provide a powerful tool in understanding the physics. Seven
polarisation parameters of the Omega ­ baryon can be extracted from the angular distributions of the
hyperon decay and studied with the future PANDA experiment at FAIR. Simulation studies
show that strange and single charmed hyperon channels have great prospects with PANDA.
